SEO Firm advertising on the radio in Dallas

I Started hearing a "linking" firm advertising on the FM Talk station here in Dallas Today. They have advertised in multiple day-parts. Just kind of funny hearing it.

It is the first traditional advertising I personally have noticed in a mainstream medium for SEO functionality.

I think a lot of webmasters sometimes get blinkered by the internet and forget the other advertising mediums that have been around for decades and still work like leaflets, print/radio & tv. Local radio and tv can be surprisingly cheap when you look into it.

I have lost count of the number of leaflet drops I have done in the past as well, 20k A5 leaflets are really cheap to get printed and there are always cheap ways to get them distributed, inserts in newspapers work well also.

too funny. We do some advertising in newspapers (offline) and similar publications but never the radio.

Considering I don't listen to them at all I'd say at least one.

I'm not sure about Dallas... but in most markets there is usually only one FM Talk station.

Yeah I'm not one for listening to alot of talk radio. I mean if I wanted to hear someone talk all day I'd spend more time with my girlfriend.

As far as the radio stations themselves it seems like when I scan through them someone's always yapping about something. For God's sake play some GNR or something.

I noticed that if a website advertises on TV or major radio station they blow out there bandwidth with traffic.
