    Hello,

I have read that one of the advantages of Drupal over Joomla is its SEO performance. However, I am looking for a elearning application and therefore consider Moodle.

Does anyone know how Moodle performs in respect of SEO?

    Thanks.

I think drupal has better native support for SEO, while Joomla does not. However there are plenty of plugins and hacks for Joomla to extend its SEO features. So, if you have to use Joomla you can still make SEO optimizations it will just require more work.

I took a look at a few sample sites and it doesnt look too promising. Same crappy issue as Joomla - search engine UNfriendly URLs. You'd have to rely heavily on page titles, headings & LOTS of backlinks.
