    Sounds like a great idea. Keep in mind it is a competitive area, as many, many SEO services spring up daily. You need to find a way of making people want to use your service. Create something unique. Take time to make your website look exclusively professional. Once you have something up and running, post a link for us to check it out.

    There are lots of SEO tools available in Google...Just search like "Free SEO Tools for Website Analysis", You will get more than 100 tools in a second....

    Adsense could work, unless you've created the tools yourself haha.

    Why not just capture the leads from the website, and market to them other products that can help them with their business? Setting up a high converting e-mail sequence will do just the trick! :)

    Start searching different SEO tools that fits perfectly of what you need. Read and watch videos for better knowledge about them.

    You have to do On and Off page SEO for your site.

    On page :
    - internal link inside your site. from one article, to the other.
    - Choosing a strong title for your content
    - if you running a wordpress site, there is a lot of great plugin that can help you to build your site
    - used a great theme/layout that matches with your content
    - etc

    off page :
    - Do backlink building
    - Press release
    - Social bookmark (my fav is pinterest - digg - stumbleupon - facebook)
    * i always share my own article after publishing it to my website
    * only takes 5minutes to share it (it's easy)

    And the last one is "PRAY"

    It would be best that your tools is free for try in certain period or to be free then you just sell your service on how to improve their SEO .
    SEO is very competitive now , so it better to start it now . Find the real niche !
    Try to track which is more making money , if google adsense then your tools is better to be free forever to get lot of visits.
    If you making money more in selling your service, it would be better to change your site to a professional site without adsense around.
