SEO - Where to Start?

    OK, thanks to some help I found here i finally managed to have some nice ads blend at my blog

    I've been adding content every day, more than once a day, but still I rank 0/10, my traffic is null or almost and clicks, well, clicks are almost 0.

    I've heard a lot about SEO and started woking on it 2 days ago, but I confess, I'm lost.

    Can anyone tell me where do I start?
    What threads should people read when trying to find SEO info?

    Determine your target keywords. Be realistic, you aren't going to rank highly for the phrase home mortgage in a week. Try to figure out realistic niche phrases to target, and then create pages built around those phrases. Don't target too many phrases, I might only target one phrase in a blog.

    If you have a blogspot blog then you are probably pretty well optimised already. Now you need to build hundreds and thousands of quality links to your site. Keep writing the content and building links and eventually you will get traffic.

    I should agree with the rest. Optimized your page first. Do this simply by identifying a good long keywords which has less number of competing pages. You can use wordtracker, keyword country, web ceo etc to identify the right keywords. Then try to blend all the words as part of your page title, meta-title, heading, meta-keywords and make sure to have 2%-5% of the words inside the content body. Once done, consider your page optimized. Now time to build your backlinks with similar anchor text to your page title. Choose page with high PR when doing this. Then submit all those pages which your backlinks reside to ping-o-matic to speed the indexing process by search engine bot. Trust me in no time you'll get index and if you're lucky with sufficient backlinks, you will get top on SERPs.

    Why I emphise on this, because not only you build your PR but also you will get traffic through backlinks & search engine too. Once your page get ranked, your EPC (earning per click) for AdSense will increase too.
