Serious alternative to Play Store?

Could anyone really make an alternative to Play that would drive similar or more installs for apps and games?

Well lets look at the existing ones:
Amazon
Opera
Samsung
SlideME

None of these touch Play in terms of installs they can get you. We know why, Play is native app on users phones, users just use this to get their apps, using alternative is too much work and not seen as beneficial to the end user.

People and ease of use, they dont want to download another app like Amazon App then installs apps from that, Play is intergrated and simple to use, click - install - done.

I know there are lots of Angry Developers (no thats not a name for a new game...we might get accused of impersonation....). But they say "Dont get mad get even" So i would like to ask you Angry Suspended Developer do you want to try and get even by not letting them take your business/creative outlet?

I am asking you developers who now cant use Play Store, do you want to get together and make a new alternative?

We need a team of developers to:

1. App developers to make app like Play Store App/Amazon App for Iphone/Android/Windows
   
2. Web developers/PHP developers to develop backend and frontend of desktop/mobile websites.
3. Graphic Artist to sh*t on Play logo and make a better one.. And to deliver artwork/logos.
4. Online Marketers / Social Marketers / SEO specialists to ironically get our App Store site to the top of Google Search and to raise awareness and get lot and lots of people to use our App Store.
5. Developers with legal background to create our policies and enforce them.

I would work to provide the structuring, management, marketing and finding other funding.

Points to note:

1. There will be some novel approaches that may make this work.
2. We would not be publishing character or cartoon based games or content.
3. Games allowed are only those that do not contain "cartoon characters / Drawings etc.." For example WordFeud, Scrabble, Connect 4, Bubble Bobble style games with no characters. This itself would cut down on crappy content submissions.
   
4. So primarily we would focus on functional / social Apps. Chat apps, tools etc..
   
5. We dont accept apps from big developers like King, Rovio as they dont support small developers (yup ive asked them for help in the past)- but would that work? who defines who is a BIG developer? Maybe not so good idea?
6. No apps that have any sexual related content. "Kamasutra - The App" would not be approved by us. Neither would
7. We dont become like Google there would always be humans dealing with inquiries, even if this means people have to wait several days to get reply.
8. There would be a support forum to let other developers air their concerns and make suggestions or contributions.
9. There would be an online "Trades Union" like feature, where disputes are dealt with fairly, other developers can also affect the decision on cases / appeals by voting or supporting the appeals.
10. We would still enforce copyright infringement and other policies that safegaurd the public and developers.

I think some may laugh this off but huffing and puffing online about your account suspension is just wasting your time and energy.

Its just an idea I had but its not possible working solo to achieve this. But hey suspended developers, youre not on Play so you have lot more time now, this way you can try to get even with google maybe? Lets not waste our time and energy with them , lets turn around, show them your back and focus your energy more positively with this project.

We could get funding from other sources too. But like I said If several people chip in we dont need much funding, just time and effort which you should have.
