    Hello,

I'm using wordpress on my theme site: http://wpjunction.com

There's a huge problem. I'm using permalinks, by the way.

New Demo's are working fine, now that I'm using permalinks, wordpress somehow doesn't show demo for the themes. To get a better idea please head over to:

    http://wpjunction.com/page/2/
    http://wpjunction.com/nofelia/

Try to click on demo, it redirects you to the theme post, and doesn't show the demo. What is the problem with it? Is there a way to have the real demos, instead of the script redirecting it back to the theme post page?

    Best Regards,
    HPA

You need to empty your cache, 'cause it seem to be working fine here.

I think you didn't understand, what I was trying to say.

    Pease head over to:

    http://wpjunction.com/nofelia/

Now click on the "Demo" button, instead of it taking you to the demo page of the theme. It takes you back to the theme info post...

some work some dont are you sure they all worked prior to the change in permalinks?
as i have never used a theme for themes
I suggest you check the demo files and the editpost page
the demo link url is totally different on the ones that work and the ones that dont.
    doesnt work: wpjunction.com/themes/aloy/
    works: wpjunction.com/themes/demo/?theme=Erega

not sure how those themes for themes work do u add the demo url as a excerpt or custom field etc?

Well, before I used to create a separate demo blog for every theme. Later, I thought of saving me sometime, and use the theme switcher plugin
So the ones that work are new themes. The other ones are old themes, but the URL is not working. For some reasons, the files and folders are there, when I check with FTP, but not accessible from Browser, kinda messed up.

do you manually add the demo theme url when creating a post?
is there a area in edit post that has the demo url?
are the demo files in the same area on your server?
you may need to recreate the post as I have never used that plugin so not exactly sure what to suggest!

I understood you the first time and said that it worked fine when I checked, but now it doesn't (it doesn't take me anywhere now). So, what ever it is that you're doing you probably just over looked at some things, but since it worked for me when I first check, it might work again when you find the right settings.

Your other demos are working fine though. Is it just that one?

Look at your source code. It looks like it's pointing back to the same page to me.
