    What shipper do you use and why?

    What is the best way to find out shipping costs before opening an account?

    I've sent stuff I've sold on E-Bay and about the cheapest has always been the USPS. Most things I sent parcel post, at least teh larger items. The new flat fee boxes might work for you.

    The USPS website is really good and you can print shipping labels directly from them. Fedex is expensive but works the best, by far. Thier service of course come with a hefty price tag, you get what you pay for.
