Short trip to Balaton lake

    Yesterday We went to see Balaton lake in winter :)

    It was quite beautifull trip and i would reccomend all to go and see balaton.
    In near area you have a lot of museums but some are closed during winter. That doesnt matter.... quality time with your wife and kids matters the most :)

    Very good museum is in Keszthely. Impresive building and quality inside :)

    It is also very cheap. At the end we went to some 24hours open restaurant around Letenye and food is great and cheap like all around Hungary.
    I live in Slovenia and total cost of the trip was around 50 Euros including gas and food ! I made 400 km on road...Time spent 13 hours :)

    It's hard to tell from the pcs, is the lake frozen?

    We almost went there for summer holidays to go wakeboarding. Will definitely go there one day...

    Yes it is frozen ... i know pictures are bad ... some cheap digital photo.....
    But the view is phenomenal even in winter....quite magic :)
