Yes, I hate many things going on here. I guess my country suffers a backlash for picking up calls from the US...etc etc etc

But at the end of the day, proud to be an Indian though I'm iconoclaustic.

    Regards,
    Dilip Samuel

The world has hardly seen the real India.

India is much more than a "Bend it like Beckham" or Indian curry. In fact when my mom returned from UK after a 2 month stay , she said there is nothing Indian about the Indian curry available overseas.which is just a lot of spices..:D

If anyone wants to know what the real India is, watching Nat Geo would be a better choice.

Most of the Urban India thinks it is the India. The image created by TV media in India is totally biased..the chief reason being that TV caters mostly to Urban India.

Even today 75% of India lives in villages. I bet more half of India doesnt know what Internet is. India per capita income is USD 600-800 (depending on whom you believe) ..thats about 2 USD everyday.

And yes I agree with Dilip - a lot of the backlash is result of Job loss in western countries because of outsourcing.

I had some very nice business deals with Indians and have one coder making a script at this moment.

In my observations Indians had a general better attitude than others.

I have a plan of maybe moving to India this summer to work in my business over there, would love to see their culture :)

Maybe I could meet you :), but India is quite huge ...

Do you know who DP member rockmyway5 is? Din is his name. Has his own web design company in India and that's my friend and coder. I recommend him, has some good coders on staff and he is nice person. Plan was that I would work with him, let's see.

In fact India is not that huge. Its just one-third the size of US.

But we got lots of people ....1.08 billion on last count :D .

I found this site - lots of "est"s on his site.
