Should i use Adwords on my site? About 500.000 pages views pr day

    Hello guys!
    We run the biggest Vbulletin forum in Norway! We currently have our own banenrsystem but we are condisering the Adwords program.

    How mutch do you guys think that we can make pr day with these numbers?

    11.000 uniqe visitors pr day
    500.000 page views pr day

    All these stats are generated by Webalizer.

    It certainly wouldn't hurt to try... worst case scenario is it doesn't work out and you go back to what you were doing.

    I think you meant AdSense.

    Well, if you go by IPU (by ShoeMoney) which is Income Per Unique where you should be shooting for 0.02 per unique visitor, that would mean $220 per day. Your mileage may vary, but it wouldn't be that hard. Though I've hard forum users tend to develop ad blindness.

    Ah, but VB users are experienced webmasters, and it's been shown that experienced webmasters rarely click on Adsense ads -- if they notice them at all. You're better off with CPM banners/selling space would be my opinion. But as they say, why not try it out for a week, see how it goes. If it makes less than your usual ad inventory, go back to it.

    I would have to agree, try it for long enough (week) that you can get an average and compare it to previous revenue.
