simple cms with file upload function....

    I am looking for a simple cms that have member fucntion and then members upload zip files with description and administrator then approves those files and everyone can download ;) I really need something simple ...

    any suggestion appreciated

    Can the simple CMS have a useful free, forum attached?
    Mybb does exactly what is asked for in the first post, with one simple download mod.

    I was keying on the word 'simple', prior to asking if "it could include a forum", and Mybb is very easy to use.
    Many free CMS's include a download area, but the choice of which one to use is not easy. I'm sure someone else will have better advice on this.

    Thanks, already been to that site but I cannot test that simple upload function for every CMS that's there. Only someone that used something similar could have some information on it, I think.

    Not really, I need a CMS suitable for a portal or article site...where users can post articles (stories, news etc.) but with pictures attached to them...so, in order to do that, I need a simple straight-forward upload module for the "post article" function of the CMS. Right now I am testing the site on a Joomla platform, to which I have added the JA Submit plugin. I'll see how this works, until I have new ideas from you guys! ;)
