Simple forthcoming events format

    I would like to help someone who wishes to run a mailing list to inform members of forthcoming 'classic' music events. We live in a fairly rural area and frequently only hear about events after they have taken place :(.
    I have offered to host/manage a web presence for the list but cannot give much time for updating/managing.

    What we need is a system that automatically displays the next 4 weeks of events. Obviously we need to provide links to the detailed information. Also it might be nice to accept blog style comments re past and forthcoming events.

    I do not want to have to manually update after every event. Please can someone recommend a free system which could best be adapted to our needs?
