    Hello DP,

I'm looking for a forum script that is very simple like , bbpress.com's script. But to allow private messaging and simple BB-code like quoting and img tags.

    Ideas?

Try MiniBB, PunBB and Vanilla, they are all compact and free.

I installed SMF, this one is also worth to look for.
IPB, vBulletin, phpBB has more complex structure.

SMF as said for beginners. If you want to go pro go with vBulletin it is the best.

Mainstream niche of vBulletin is forums with some hundreds & more of active visitors.
    1. He wants very simple like script. 2. He hasn't told his budget. For stable work, no
big point to install nulled vB & later wonder w*f is happening @site. Just my 2 cents.

What I'm thinking about now are bbPress, Vanilla and Fluxbb.

Now you know what's my taste or what I mean by simple forum. Thanks for your responses.
