Hi, i have a little question about photoshop...Im working with a 500 x 500 document but ive run out of space....How can i change the size to make it 500 x 600? I was told ctrl + T (command + T in apple) but that doesnt change the document size but the image size.

    Thanks, fuser

Go Image > Canvas Size, and then change the size, either absolutely, or relative to the current size. Im sure you can figure it out from there :)

while increasing canvas size however if you have the background layer that you started with that's locked then when you increase the size the background color goes to whatever your foreground color is set to so be careful with that.

In this case you need to change the complete canvas size Ctrl+T is used for changing the image size but changes in canvas size can help you in changing the complete frame size.
