Site Design

Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by jasper182, Apr 21, 2006.

My friend and I have recently put up a website and were looking for some feedback for both the sites design and the ad placement/coloring. It seems so far that people we've asked either love or hate the design, but luckily more love it then hate it. Any ideas on what to add, delete, move, change or whatever would be appreciated. Thanks in advance to everyone that replies.

Sorry, totally spaced on that. Not a very good way to start I guess. Here you go, and I'm sorry once again. www.ferserious.com (I tried to add a live link but the forum won't let me)

Holy cow. It's way too bright. Giant, bulging red logo on top, bright blue colors up and down. You're liable to go blind if you stay on the site for longer than a minute. Tone it down. Lots.

I like it. I don't understand why people don't like colors like that :p

The ads though... I'd experiment with changing to banners somewhere in the content table (in the middle), or in any case trying out some different blendings with the colors.

Ads below things that resize during loading... I just now accidentally clicked one of your ads on the Cast pages :p Not that that's necessarily good--just thought I'd let ya know.

you need some re-alignment for your site, and I'm not a big fan of your colors combination too, probably just the shading of it
