sitemap confusion

    HELP!!
    First off would just like to say how helpful I have found this forum in the past as a visitor.

    I have joined because I am at the end of my tether with Google.
    I submited sitemaps for both my sites informationcyprus.com and
    cyprus4property.informationcyprus.com (a sub domain)
    The sub domain cyprus4property.informationcyprus.com is indexed and showing 24 pages but no index page.

    The other site informationcyprus.com (main domain) is showing the home page as indexed, but the crazy thing is that Google is also showing the same 24 pages that are listed in the subdomain! They don't belong there because they are part of the other site I built as a sub domain.

    Also Google keeps indexing them one minute then later in the day they disapear again. I am concerned that because they have indexed both sites with the same pages I am going to end up with somekind of duplicate content problem.

    Please can anyone help me as this is driving me around the bend.
