    HI all,
    Can anybody tell me the best way to prepare a sitemap for an ecommerce website having more than 20, 000 pages. Have a look at this site for your suggestion http://www.herbspro.com. I am not talking about the google sitemap.

    Are those 20K pages static or are they dynamic?

    In those 20000 pages only 10 pages are static and the rest are dynamic and very important as these are the pages from which we are selling the products. In fact we rewrite the url by using xq asp so that it will not display any querry symbols.

    If you are talking about usual sitemap - it will be a good idea to show main categories and sub-categories.
    Not the all 20k pages :)

    You will have to hire a coder to do the job for a sitemap on these dynamic pages. If I were you, I'd only pick the main cateogories, sub categories and other important pages and make a sitemap of it manually.
