sitemaps common words usefulness

    This is not in the sitemaps forum on purpose, btw.

    I'm looking over my sitemaps common words and thinking about what pages that I actually have decent SERP for and there seems to be a high correlation. This might be obvious, but..

    I bet that the more you can get the

    "In your site's content"

    to match..

    "In external links to your site"

    The better off you are going to be. The common words lists look like a very nice view of how google itself sees your pages. Its making me rethink the whole idea of just monetizing my blog vs having seperate sites for major categories.

    Anyone else have any thinking on the matter they'd like to share?

    Also I'd like to know what the biggest lists people have. Mine are about 80 internal and 40 external.
