Google sitemaps is now reporting that the robots.txt was not found on every site? This is being reported across all sites, hosted even on different web hosts...Anyone else seeing this?

I had this problem, but it turned out I had called my robots.txt file robot.txt. Duh (It took me ages to spot it) :-(

I saw the problem was confirmed in the google groups for sitemaps. But it looks like the problem has been fixed.

They're making some changes in the system. Don't worry about it :). Whenever they reset the robots.txt checking, the status goes back to "not found".
