    Hi everybody!

Please have a look at my site and maybe tell me if this could be against the TOS:

Main URL (find the ads :) ):
    http://www.askjimabout.net

Similar to those already mentioned here:
    http://www.askjimabout.net/content/lasik-surgery

I'd re-work the Main URL if I were you. To me, you're labeling the Google Ads as Categories and that is against TOS. You need to label them as 'Advertisements' or 'Sponsored Links'. :(

The 'Ask Jim About' site looks fine to me. :)

Delvin: I'm not sure I can pinpoint the exact thing against TOS that site is... but my gut feeling says it is. Maybe drawing attention to the ads or something.

Some good ideas here. Some of them seem quite shady. Is making money really worth it? Why not just sell drugs to small children! Haha just kidding.

yeah this is really against tos, if it's not that he put the ads on front of the upper page, it's that he has image next to them. That's also against tos, because it makes people click on the ads more...

If something makes people click on ads more, it's against the TOS? What a strange thing to say. There are lots of things you can do to increase CTR without breaching the TOS. When it comes to images next to ads, some people have asked AdSense support, who said a border needs to be placed around the images.

My god what a placement. wonderful.

I spotted the first one on top. But the last one was really class of adsense placements.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

I have a forum website and did some research at one time about using Adsense in your threads. From my understanding, the general concensus was that if you do put the adsense in a post, the poster name needs to be "Sponsored Links" or "Advertisements".

That your poster is named "AdsenseChat", I think this is against the TOS.

I don't even like to take the risk though and I opt for putting adlinks inbetween the posts, like how it's done here at DigitalPoint.

Did you see the bottom of that post? There's a post by AdSense Chat that just contains AdSense. What in the world?!?

Tweety...That's what he's asking for input on. Whether it violates the TOS. I think it does.

Delvin...You might want to double check with Google Adsense and ask if it's alright to do. I'm not 100% sure about it.

    Please also check www.adsensefreakz.nl

In the second column it says "latest 4 updates" on top, then displays 4 updates and finally one ad. Is it allowed to display it this way? Thanks!

I am not 100% positive on this, but I think even premium ads can say "ads by google".

here is an extremely high traffic site to use as an example.

    www.sportsline.com

    I am assuming they can.

If my site got to that point, I would want to make them known as "google ads", or at least "sponsored ads"

I wouldn't want to be tricking visitors into thinking they were going to a link on my site when they seen the link.

I had made my forum very gaudy. Users at DP criticised it. I just changed the WHOLE forum!

Can you please preview it now? I have followed the DP example... hope Shawn doesn't mind it...

Note the integration of Adsense in many positions, including the first category on front page and as a reply to first post inside.
