I'm only seeing 3 ads and one of those is a link unit. So you're still allowed another ad unit.

    http://skookummaps.com

I created a home for my google map experiements. I also want to create some "funny" content so I have a few attempts on this site. I only have a few things on it right now but if you find anything even mildly assumeing I'd appricate you suggesting the site on sites like collegehumor.com. It aint no "Draw a Pig" site but I'm working on it. :)

Im posting in this thread because I used some of the blending techniques described.

    Cheers!

You must be from the US, you guys live with the "lawsuit" in your heads...

You where the guy who clicked 8 times in my ads today? They only counted 1 click, lol!

Stick with the topic my friend ;)

It's made up from some of the posts on this thread, but mostly the thread that Critters Started.

These are great examples, but I think I would be a little weary about placing my ads like this, it seems to be toeing the line between violating the TOS and not...

If you think that you could be violating the TOS (even have the slightest suspicion that you are) then email Google.
They WILL look at the site and will tell you whether they are happy with it.

Google encourages integration and blending though. They use it as an example of one of their techniques to get your CTR up.

I was under the impression that as long as you don't say anything other than "Sponsored Links" or "Advertisements" above your ads, you were in the clear. Is this not true?

Not sure if someone mentioned this yet, but this is from the Adsense FAQ in the sticky on the top of the forum.

Can we have images above or next to our ads?

Yes, but include a border line between the ads and use generic ads.

    From AdSenseAdvisor...

Placing images above AdSense ads is not necessarily prohibited by program policies. However, depending on the method of implementation this could be considered `encouraging users to click on ads'.

Encouraging users to click on the Google ads appearing on your site is prohibited by AdSense program policies. The reason for this is to prevent artificial inflation of advertiser costs. This benefits both advertisers and publishers by preserving the integrity of the network, and maintaining its long-term viability.

If you have concerns about whether you have implemented your ads in a way that complies with AdSense program policies, feel free to email us with your URL. A specialist will be happy to conduct a review, and you will not be penalized.
