By complete coincidence I stumbled across the site for the film "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" at http://www.skycaptain.com/ (The term Manta Squadron caught my inquisitive eye)

It looks pretty cool, anyone know anything about it other than what the site says?

Not a great movie for sure, but I loved the old retro style...

In all fairness to Lever, he posted that a year ago.

That movie was just an ego trip..Countless interviews where they hype that the entire movie was filmed against green screens.

    Blah Blah Blah

If they spent more time on the plot rather then trying to prove what they could do with special effects, it could have been halfway decent
