Slow January And Especially Slooooow February

January was one of the slowest months for me (earnings-wise) in the last 6 months or so.

I know it's only been 2 days into February, but I am starting to notice the same trend.

Has anyone experienced slower January and now February? Just wanted to know if this is a common trend or not.

PS I'd really like to hear relevant, serious replies from people who are actually making a living off of internet marketing.

Along with the usual banal pointless posts, expect substandard English that appears like it has been written by 12 year olds that have somehow gotten into their fathers liquor cabinet.

I wouldn't say it's about January, I think it's more of an issue to get back on the track after holidays and starting to work more efficiently. But I believe it differs on the occupation itself, for me personally, it's summer which isn't the best time of the year, earning-wise.

 

It probably also depends on your niche. Most of my projects relate around sports, so January brought in all of the college bowl games, which were like low hanging fruit. Nothing much happening for February, but March Madness is next month so I can spend this slow time selling ads and doing work towards that. By then baseball and soccer will be in full swing.
