    let's say i have a facebook uesr with hunderts of thousands of friends
    and i own a group which also have 20,000 members

    how can i use it for smo ?

    or let's say----how can i make money by using the group or the user itself ?

    affilate marketing, ads , what else ?

    To make money, you need to drive people form facebook and to your site. And from there, it will depend on how targeted the traffic is, the types of ads, what the traffic is looking for, what products are you trying to sell,,,,,, there are a lot of factors involved.

    The problem with facebook, if you start using it to promote yourself, your products or your site, your probably going to get banned. I have seen lots of people complaining that the moderators at facebook are quick to ban. And the appeal process can take months - several months.

    So if you get too spammy with "visit my site" - your likely to get banned.

    Ya kevs right with this one. Social networking should be used for networking rather than promotional activites. If you would like to submit your links to social sites try bookmarking such as digg, twine, stumble upon and the rest. These sites allow you to suggest URLs for others to look at.
