SMS gateways - any experience?

I'm looking for recommendations of good, well established text sms gateways for a business idea I am pursuing... I don't want to utilise the services of some fly-by-night that disappears within months of me starting my service up!!

Does anyone here have any experience of reliable sms gateways they can share... pref, but not essential, in the UK?

 

I was trying to get set up with Mpush (or ''Menable") who seem to have a pretty large operation, however when it got down to the technical stuff of implementing their gateway in ASP it just drifted off into phone tag.

If you are PHP, I would check them out. Seems like the primary content they deliver is porn downloads, but hey, that's big business.

If you simply want a more turnkey payment system, check out www.firstgate.com. I'm using the US-based branch, however they started in Europe and I believe have SMS options there.

 

Although i am not fond of self-promotion, others have managed to 'flog' their products onto me using it, so i thought i would give it a try.

Visit http://www.tm4b.com/; it is a UK-based gateway that is unbeatable in every aspect of the marketing mix. It is high in reliability, low in cost, advanced and simple-to-use.

Sounds "too good to be true", but don't know what else to say!
