So I get an email a few minutes ago

A very nice gentleman sent me an email.
Seems somehow someone hacked into one of my sites, added a new folder (2 new folders really).
Then used my site on popups and emails to send people to my site!
Bad part was, anyone that clicked on the link to go to my site, as my site started loading, trojans started jumping up wanting to load up.

Thank the heavens one nice person on the net noticed this and sent that email!
It is fixed now.

BUt just a warning...check your sites regularly (especially sites that you put up and leave alone for some time, as my case on this site).

Added...forgot to mention....I also changed the password into the site to something so damn convoluted, that I have it (like my other convoluted passwords) written down here (yes, at home....just the wife and me, so no worries about someone finding these passwords written down).

And another thing I discovered today....
I always start to type in paypal to go to the paypal site.
Autofill here, so once I type pay in my browser, the paypal url comes up.
Someone told me that every so often, when I type in the paypal url, not to log in with my regular password first, but use an off the wall password just to see if I can get into paypal...if so, it was a spoof site.
