    True.

They are giving away more iPods than they have.
But Apple isn't exactly shipping them out very fast.

I believe that's why Gratis started offering HP iPods.
This way HP can use their channels for mass shipments.
But since HP didn't start shipping until a week ago, we are just starting to see these being shipped.
Example: a co-worker of mine will be recieving his Free HP iPod today.

See my Free iPod thread for more info.

I wonder when people are going to realize that they can't get something for nothing. I've seen the freeiPod thing all over. I already have an iPod, but if you really want one you'll work for it, or buy a used one fairly cheap from ebay.

    right.
If it was truely free, nobody would do it in this scale, because someone would lose money somewhere.

Free is relative in marketing. :p

Hey it's a real offer. That's something. :) And it's free because you don't need to buy anything, I think. It's just tricky. I can't do it because i'd forget about something and they'd bill me for some subscription I don't really want. I'll save my pennies for a new iPod. But for now, my old one is doing just fine. ;) However it's nice to see it sees real!
