So my girlfriend and I have a different view on monogamy.

She’s for it.

I’m against it (for me) sort of.

I might write up our official stances on it after we sort everything out. Right now everything is still up in the air.

She has like no argument for it.

I have a ton against it.

One statement of controversy that did come up in the discussion was my answer to this question.

“So what you’d just love to have all kinds of different pussy.”

Apparently my answer of “YEAH!!!” was immediately not understood.

I think she’s coming around.

Anyone else have discussions like this?

 

A couple of arguements for it, not that I'm taking a stance, are:

STD's
Crazy psycho clinging women/men.

 

I really don't think that any girl likes an open relationship. Unless she prefers chicks over dudes.

 

Well it started from the FAQ I'm writing for my site.

I basically said well what if girls want to email me to hook up. So it's not like I'm out there looking for women.

She mentioned STDs.

I said, "So, the girls that will come to my websites have STDs now"

 

I keep trying to talk to my wife about this but she's always out with her boyfriend.

It is all about power and if the power is either way it works for some but not for me. I need to have all the power and i have. Get a girlfriend who is Bi-sexual then you won't have these problems.

1- It is not cheating because you are both doing it together.

2- A lot of time is very easy for girl to pick up another girl, so you don't need to do anything to have fun.

3- More girls you have in bed, the more fun it is.

As to the original question... look at it from the perspective of how we are hardwired ~ perpetuation of the species to understand the differences between gender needs.

Male hard wiring = find a healthy woman and shag her

Female hard wiring = find a healthy man ... prepare a stable nest ... shag him ... keep him round so long as you need him to help rear the young

Any spiritual / cultural / environmental / personal preference type needs above and beyond those basics are added into the equation for each partner.

After you have mated successfully, your primal desire to perpetuate the species will decrease ... and in turn so too will your primal desire to shag.

If you want to keep a female long term and shag other women on the side, the kind of female you are looking for is one of three people:
1. someone with no self confidence / self esteem who you can walk all over.
2. someone with excellent self confidence / esteem ... has other facets of her life to validate her self worth much more significantly than your relationship ... shares a desire to go and shag other men or women so has self interests in the arrangement that compliment yours ... has a strong aversion to child bearing
3. a nympho

There are plenty of 1's around, but basically you aren't even half a man if this is what you are targeting.
There are very few 2's around and usually it's a phase that changes over time.
There are a few 3's around ... but you have problems too if that's what you are after.

The moral to the story is if you want to stay with this female you will need to move to her preference for monogamy. Or breakup, move on, and shag casuals.
