Social BookMark sites

I saw that people are advertise here lists of 200-500 bookmarks sites.
I dont get it - how people sumbit their site to 500 bookmarks sites?!
Need to register every site, and bookmark it - A LOT OF TIME! (500 sites?!)

 

I am pretty sure Social Bookmarking is frowned upon on this forum. It is very spammy and not useful. you can recieve a penalty for advertising for it.

 

if you really think its very hard to get register in 200-500 site, so u can also use this service provide by many free lancer, who have get submit your site in more that 500 Bookmarking sites with minimum their charges,

 

I agree.. it is very time consuming so you can outsource you work to any freelancer

 

social bookmarking is a method for internet users to organize, store, manage and search for bookmarks of resources online.unlike file sharing, the resource themselves aren't shared , merely bookmark that reference them.

 

social bookmarking is not spam if you do on sites like digg it drives a lot of traffic to your site and bookmarking helps to increase your SERP as well benefitted in BL.

It isn't spammy if you don't abuse it. If your website has some content that is genuniely interesting and think other people would want to read, there is nothing wrong with you submitting it to a site like digg. Taking that one step further, there's nothing wrong with submitting the same article/story/whatever to as many different social bookmarking sites as you like to increase interest and awareness. What IS spammy is submitting every single page on your website, or the same page multiple times.

 

You will get penalty if not from the site's webmaster, but will from the people who follow you, smile.

 

I didnt said its spam! I just dont understand how people have energy to bookmark 500 sites!

 

yea its not really worth, i always use to go till to use only top 10 to 15 bookmarking site for my Projects

 

I only prefer to submit my pages on worthy social bookmarks. As submitting pages to them manually is not easy and takes a lot of time. And also submitting pages to a lot of social bookmarks can be useful IF we use different title and descriptions for them. And if you use the same title and description for submitting one link to them, it doesn't worth.

 

They using software to bookmark like - social bot, bookmarking demon etc

 

It may be frowned upon, but it has no bearing on whether or not it brings results. It's a very popular service online and a lot of SEO companies use that tactic. So that leads me to the question - has anyone here gotten really good SEO/traffic/results from regularly submitting their website content to 100, 200, 500, 1,000, etc random social bookmarking sites?

 

Yes, no need to register to all those site which are working.

 

Social bookmarking sites are search on Google, they are totally free and work best.

 

Yes i can say only handful of social bookmarking websites are really working today.So obviously it is the best place for spammers.
