Social bookmarks are increasingly valuable - but remember, its still a social place in that people will want to share valuable stuff with the community. So if you think its a quick solution for a sales page...not going to work too well.
If its for a good blog or site that has something valuable for the community, then once it gets going the community will do the promotion for you.

Search Google for social bookmarking sites that are ranked high. Only problem is, your links doesn't stay indexes on these sites and after a couple of months it's useless.

 

Using services such as DIGG and REDDIT are very good sources of traffic. This is only if you have well written and interesting articles or information on your website.

If you use Social Bookmarking websites on a regular basis and have lot's of good content, then your website visitors will keep coming back as well.
