    Yes it helps. However, make sure you DO NOT SPAM if you are submitting yourself. When I tested it back in July, my site received an extra 300-500 uniques per day. Some sites that reach digg.com's front page see traffic of up to 30,000 uniques (but only for 1 or 2 days).

    I've found that it helps but it can take a while to master the art of getting your work noticed. It's like anything I guess. Depends upon how much effort you are willing to devote to it :)
