    I am reading recently at this forum a lot of threads about Social Bookmark Articles and their websites such as digg.com and others. Personally, it missed that new wave of marketing and I need to know what it is.

    Can someone tell me in simple words how Social Bookmarking works (its ultimate goal) and benefits of it over conventional SEO marketing channels.

    Social bookmarking sites such as Stumbleupon have worked extremely well for us in terms of getting traffic. It is a matter of numbers. Those sites can expose your site to many, many people. Toby is right the more votes the more traffic ;)

    Stubleupon has gave me the most traffic.

    You might be interested in a site called: http://socialposter.com/ for quick social bookmarking of your site. If you don't have quality content don't even bother though. Its all about quality content.

    Social bookmarking is all about sharing your favorite stories with rest of the world. When you submit interesting stories, you will get lots of votes or diggs and which result in high amount of traffic to your site. I have tried digg.com and netscape.com which I find quite useful
