Social media site LinkedIn ?????

Hey guys

I have recently heard about a social media site called linkedin

Apparently it is easy to utalize as a marketing tool

Just wondering to what extent that is true and if anyone has any experience then please drop me a line

 

I have an account with them because I also heard it is a good site to use. I have the free account. But, I have not had much luck there even though I have 100+ connections.

 

It's just for professional network if you intend to promote a products or site here I think its not a right place.

 

I just use it, but it not so famous in my country.

 

I always use for SMO.It is very good site.

 

It's a very good site, yet aimed at professionals mostly, so one have to be very careful on what to publish there.
Otherwise one won't get any respect and naturally promo effects will be low.

 

Linkedin is one of the more popular social media sites for business connections on the net today. It certainly has its use and you shouldnt overlook it simply because its not a direct social network as most think of them (such as FB and Twitter). In fact, because it is does offer a different approach to marketing socially most would say using it can only increase your Social Impact.

I am using LinkedIn . My opinion is that is the best network for business (not for spam your products) . There you will make contacts (business contacts) you can follow people with same interests make connections and expend your job or even find/get job offers etc.. Much more serious and business oriented than other networks...

 

For what I have read here, It is a good site to get involved with, but certainly, it is more for professional people

to use it as a marketing tool (I think).

LinkedIn is a very great website to build your social empire. It is full of great and professional people.

 

You can make a group their and add people those are related to your business. Group discussion will help your business.

I think it's helpful to build up my profile and contact list while I am employed, so if/when I become unemployed I have a number of people to contact right away for job leads.

 

It's good mostly for those that owns companies or are professional.

 

LinkedIn is geared towards professional marketing. It's great for you as an individual and great for your company if you're selling higher-cost, service- or consultative-type products. I don't think it's the best route for marketing a consumer-oriented (B2C) firm.

 

Lots of amazing information is provided here about LinkedIn. In fact LinkedIn is a social networking site which is especially for the professionals and people can make their profile on this site with it they can promote their business also through this site.

 

Linkedin is really nice website to build your social network... I have my account in this, here you can share your professional profile and other stuffs and also can create the groups where you can share your views with other experts.

 

Linkedin is a bit like Facebook for grown-ups In terms of business to business marketing in your local area it is very good. It is also a good way of building a mailing list. You can export all your connections, details to a csv file then stick them in your email program.

 

LinkedIn the largest professional platforms. About 70% of the companies make use of LinkedIn in their recruitments and hirings. It is not very good choice for you if you are looking for direct marketing and advertisement. It proves valuable in building professional relationships over the period of time.
