Do any of you have a social media strategy?

If so, how do you differenciate your messages on twitter and facebook? I know that both are very different channels and information should not be duplicated. However, do you utilize the same theme? I'm trying to develop a social media calendar for facebook/twitter w/ a "theme" for each day. Would love examples of what works for you!

Basically, Facebook and Twitter are completely different for any kind of strategy, because of certain reasons like you cannot upload images or videos on Twitter.

The best way to get to go through Facebook is by aiming as much as eye-balls as you can to visit your fan page or your website. For this you will have to plan some viral marketing skills and implement them accordingly. On the other hand, Twitter is restricted to just 140 characters :(. However if you have good amount of followers and have not added them randomly, then you just need a CATCHY title with GREAT short content. This way you might get some good clicks through Twitter, as well ;)
