    Maybe it is a stupid question. But I'm able to choose a course in design and there is alot diferent software courses to choose from. I want to learn something about logo design so if you could give some advice...

    Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, as mentioned above are great products. You can bet on a photoshop course, because it has very high capabilities. But at the same time, its price is also not that cheap. Photoshop or any other program will limit your creation to your imagination. Paint Shop Pro is also a excellent utility. Whatever program you choose, just make sure that you have the budget to obtain a copy of the software.

    Photoshop renders raster images so it doesnot work that much if you want to print logos as well.

    User softwares that give you vector file creation capabilities.

    Use Coral, Illustrator or Freehand.

    yeah go illustrator for logos.
    Otherwise if your looking for freebies go for inkscape and The Gimp
