Some help needed on CMS and forum

    Hi All

    I need to build a site that has the following:

    Main / front page
    Forum
    Live chat
    RSS news feeds
    Widgets
    Gallery

    I think thats it. I need it to be easily manageable, easy to update and get support. I have considered

    phpbb
    smf
    Vbulitin

    For the forum. I would like to do this at a low cost. I cant afford a VB licence at the moment. Can I get away with using the other forums available or do they just simply not compare.

    What I really want is a site like a joomla that I can simply add bits to. Can I add a forum when I need to or do I need to use another CMS?

    Any ideas appreciated.

    Well,you need to go with Open Source CMS like Joomla or Wordpress.
    If you are not good at coding,then go for Wordpress as its very very easya dn user friendly as well..
    So,you will love it...

    Joomla is tough to deal with and you will have to hire developers like us to get things done. :D

    have you looked at Drupal? it will do all of this fairly easily.. not sure what you mean by 'widgets' though..
