    Hello guys!

    I would like to highlight few major differences between Wordpress and Joomla. Both are Content Management Systems as we know and both are Open source (available at free of cost to everyone). However functionally there some major differences as follows:

    1. Wordpress is more user friendly than Joomla.
    2. Wordpress offers you blogging option (free user account) where as this is not the case with Joomla.
    3. Wordpress site is search engine friendly when compared to Joomla.
    4. Integration with other sources in Wordpress sites is very difficult (because themes don't allow easy modification) as compared to that of Joomla.

    No it's not. It's different. You're comparing apples to zebras. WP is a primarily a blogging platform. Joomla is a full blown CMS
    You're talking about completely different things. Wordpress.com is not Wordpress.org. Wordpress.com offers free user accounts that have had the functionality crippled.
    Both are search engine friendly. It's the c o n t e n t that's important.
    I have no idea what you're talking about here, but I suspect that you're wrong given your other points.

    • Joomla has best CMS service than wordpress because Joomla is for advanced CMS development while wordpress is just to create a blogging sites.
    • Joomla is best for developing a complex website while wordpress is for simple website.
    • Wordpress is optimized with Google so its web pages are easily ranked high in SERPs. While in Joomla the web pages can get higher ranked than wordpress with some effective SEO techniques.
    • To manage and understand admin panel is easy in wordpress while is difficult to manage admin panel in Joomla.
    • Wordpress Is best for publishing your content. While Joomla based website has some more than to displaying content. It has advanced features with effective functionality.

    and.... Wordpress is more popular, while Joomla is losing popularity.

    Joomla is high-powered out of the box, while much of the same functionality of Joomla can be had by adding plugins in WP.

    You can have a live website with Wordpress without buying host. But Joomla you must have.
    Start with a Wordpress page is easier but
    Build a nice website with Joomla is easier than Wordpress because all are simple and no need to good at code. :D
