    Some webmasters are making their sites or blogs as simple as possible, with the intention of making the visitors turn their attention on the Google Adsense ads. Is this true? Or the right question is: Is this effective?

    Yes, as it increases visitor loyalty. So, instead of getting a Click just once from a person, you can receive many! :)
