Hello, I've been a member of DP for a while now and have gathered some great tips from quite a few people, but I feel like I am getting cut short on my ctr with the amount of traffic my site receives.

    the site link is www.evilpsp.com.

In the past I was at points getting $14.00 a day, now I can barely make $3.00 some times.

Please if I can get some genuine suggestions from the awesome users of Digital Point on how I could increase my earnings I will be grateful.

I've thought about using a type of revenue sharing system for my site to drive more interest. My site generates about 1,200 hits a day most of them being new visitors around the age of 12-17 so I know my audience is probably young gamers who are always looking for the "next cool thing" or hot topic for the Sony PSP. While getting my user base to actually buy products from my site is much harder as the majority of them are quite young i'm guessing AdSense's pay per click method is the way to go, so I would like to get my users to click on ads more.

Thank you so much for your time. :)

    DP user for life!

To me, link unit doesn't serve much purpose because it will actually take two consecutive clicks in order to generate earning. I would replace the top link unit with ad unit instead.

Aye, your site looks pretty mental to me; you've got stuff going on all over the place. The site needs to relax a bit.

Try to integrate a block or two of text-only AdSense ads somewhere into the body of the page, with the colours blended to match those of your normal text and links.

You've got several ad-banner-size images that aren't actually clickable ad banners. Some look incredibly banner-ish. That's got to be pretty confusing for visitors.

Hi, I would suggest you to put 336 x 280 text ads in between your posts and blend the background and text colors. It will boost up your CTR. Also have you recently changed your template? If not then do that and use random position of ads in your posts as I do believe your visitors have gone Ad blind. Take action on my suggestions and see the results in 24 hours. Check details here.

I have remade the theme to better integrate with my ads. hopefully this helps. I've also added a verticle banner to the content(articles)
