Sort posts by most downloaded in wordpress

Hi,
I have been searching last couple of hours for a plugin that would display my most downloaded files in sidebar for my wordpress blog.Couldnt find anything that would work with latest wordpress version.Any1 knows about best solution for this?

Download files or download (or read) posts? You're asking for two different things here.

Also what specific version of wordpress are you using. 99% of the time 'latest version' isn't. (I had someone last week swear up and down that 2.6 was the latest version.) It's always a good idea to state the specific version that you are using.

Please remember specifics always help and should be a good habit to get into.

I have just checked my wordpress version in my admin area and its 2.8.5.
What I would like to is:
I have a blog that offers templates to download.Templates are in categories e.i. columns, color...
I use wp download manager to upload and download templates.
I would like to add "most downloaded" to my sidebar where most downloaded templates would be shown.
When I say "most downloaded" I mean most downloaded by visitors.

So you want a download counter/ manager.

I usually suggest Gamerz plugins and he does a downloader one.

Never used it myself so I couldn;t tell you much about it. A quick check of his blog doesn't show any mention of any 2.8.5 issues. Considering he's one of the biggie wordpress plugin developers, he's usually one the top of upgrading.

Thanks now.I didnt realize Gamerz plugin can do the job I wanted.
I use more of his plugis like wp-print, wp-email...

We use his wp-postratings and the post count plugins as a basis for doing our hot topic listings on our wpmu installs.
