Sports and Video Blogs. Good for adsense?

Hello everyone, my website: http://www.15sports.com is a sports video blog. It seems to me that sports keywords pay low, and that video blogs, or blogs in general are not best for adsense.

Ofcourse its all about the traffic (which I am feverishly working on) but am I fighting a losing battle?

    Thanks in advance!

It's a very broad topic. You have a full page covering lots of different types of sports, at least from what I can gather. (I'm not a sports fan, so I don't understand what everything like "NCAA" is...)

One thing I'd suggest is making separate blogs for each sport, or focusing completely on one sport, perhaps? This will result in ads that are targetted more sharply toward people visiting your site.

I've heard before that blogs are "not the best for adsense", but I don't really see why a good blog that collects enough traffic wouldn't make as much money as a website using adsense, unless the website had ads that were targetting viewers more sharply than the blog was.

Your blog also seems to focus attention on the middle of the page rather than the sides, but your ads are on the sides. Perhaps you could put banners across the page, instead?
