    Might be simple for someone out there - but is a real pain for me.

    Can anyone tell me what font is used in the attached image?

    I think it might be Clifford-Eighteen Ita Alt LF.
    Use myfonts.com/WhatTheFont, it will give you 5 options.

    If its not imperative that it looks exactly the same I'd go for Plantin. I know its not that font but I can't identify it at mo (its the end of the week afterall!!!)

    all of the above mentioned is probably wrong

    it is either Caslon 540 EF Italic, Caslon Italic LET or something pretty much similar

    I have to agree - it really looks very similar to Caslon Italic :rolleyes:

    I agree, it looks like it has been added some bold, perhaps done with Photoshop, because its very close but there are minor differences, but looks just like font weight differences.
