*Stalker alert*

Guys I'm in a bit of a pickle... Someone sent me a message on Facebook, talking bad things about me, threatening me saying that I will pay back for what I did and said that "you reap what you sow".. I don't know this person and I sure as hell don't remember screwing anyone over.. I'm assuming it's a girl I might have disappointed in the past..Of course I sent a message back in a very nice and calm way saying that they have the wrong person but that same night they confirmed that I am the person they are looking for.. I am not friends with this person on Facebook and after looking at the account I realized that it's a fake one, it is obvious from the pictures and the amount of few friends this person has. It says that this person is from my contacts!! As I look through my contacts I search for girls' numbers from my contacts that I might have disappointed.. I can't find anything and I looked at the accounts bio and info, no number provided.. The account was also made back in 2013.. Help me out guys, please.. I'm desperate to find out who this is!

 

if someone want to harass you anonymously it's a problem to make him stop, all you can do is block the account and report to facebook. if it's get to far you can file a complaint in the police.

 

I doubt the police would give a shit about all this but it's worth a try

You should've done the opposite. Write something like this next time around:

"Who the hell are you, you stupid idiot!! I am calling the FBI on you, you b*tch. As a matter of fact I've already alerted Facebook regarding your f*cking message! Get lost your stupid punk!!"

You'll never hear from him/her again.

 

That won't always work. Sometimes these "stalkers" get more elated into continuing. They can even get irritated and make the problem worse. Probably the best decision is to remain silent, report him on FB and simply block him.

 

So, I totally get why you would feel that way, that has been my reaction too - but in reality, they do take this stuff very, very seriously. If you've been threatened with harm they are obligated to act on it.
My ex husband stalked me for a long time and made many threats, while hiding behind fake accounts; I didn't press charges for personal reasons, however he lost his job when the police turned up at his work to warn him off and it turned out he'd been using a work computer some of the time.

That you think it's a girl you might have "disappointed" suggests you've hurt someone and know it; or I doubt you'd jump to that. I'm not saying it's your fault, you may have hurt each other, maybe it was just a case of being honest and telling someone you didn't like them back- it's none of my business; my point though, is that you should be able to narrow it down using that kind of logic and then confirm it by removing people one by one from your contacts (you can always re-add them) and seeing when the notice informing you that they are a contact disappears. (I'm not sure where this shows exactly, if it's your phone or email or whatnot, but you get the idea.)

You can also look at strange spellings, grammar, capitalization etc. and compare that to posts/messages from people/the person you suspect.

Lastly - you can probably get their IP. Find a reason to include a link in your reply, and link to your own wordpress with a plugin to grab visitors IPs. (Or code something quickly if you're able to.) With that it will narrow down their location a lot and may be enough to help you figure out who it is. You can also provide that to the police.

 

They won't. They are all pussies who hide behind their fake identity and the only thing they are afraid of is power. We have pussies on this forum who hide behind their fake identity and the only thing those trolls understand and are afraid of is power and confrontation.

He should write her once in a very powerful, confrontational way and then totally ignore her. I am not saying he should go back and forth with her. The OP wants to find out who the person is. That's crazy. Whoever it is doesn't matter. Also, being 20 doesn't help. When you're 20 everything seems so freaking important. Honestly, this whole thing is a non-issue in my eyes.
