    I usually get photos from istockphoto. My question is, can we download photos from there (they just cost $1) , use it in an ebook cover and resell the ebook with plr?

    If not, any idea where I can get good photos for my ebooks?

    I do not think istock provides resell rights, so unless u get resell rights i doubt u can paste them on some ebook and sell ebook with reseller rights with those images intact to be used be end user.

    you might want to look at the modification/derivative works part of the agreement. personally I think it would be ok. as long as there are other elements in the cover design. read the agreement though...it is not as strict as some other sites. I really like istockphoto.

    I do like istockphoto too and use them for some of my site's images. However, I read their agreement and it won't allow me to use it for ebook covers for resale. Any other ideas on image sites which allow this? I got a 1 wk membership with clipart.com but their quality is not as good as istockphoto.

    are you sure? it would be a derivative work. you are not reselling the photo
