    Hey!
    I started creating some graphics related to my forum for my members can use them. I hadn't used Photoshop(fully) till now. So, I could call what i just made, one of my first graphics.
    Can please some of you gurus rate it or say what's wrong with them so I can improve! Do you think i should add a border in them? Thanks.
    Also, if you like them and are familiar with cricket, you can request for userbars for your favourite cricketers/teams etc..

    For small images, you should use bitmap/pixel fonts, or set your font anti-aliasing to NONE. You'll get much sharper text that way :)

    you could try adding scanlines on them and a white (smaller) layer with low opaqueness . just check if you like it

    Nice userbars! You could also try tilting the image a bit to show a little more but if you prefer to conceal the mouth and nose then it's your choice. :) I usually tilt my images around 48 degrees.

    Oh and for the first one, I suggest using a darker stroke for the white text so it doesn't fade too much and it pops out of the userbar.

    much better! I see you've given it a little more love. You placed the standard userbar shine right there and a pattern overlay. Nice job!
