Starting a blog?!

I have created a blog and written a first post.. but I am absoloutley clueless what to do next!! Is there s step by step guide on what to do? How do i get traffic? Do i do more posts? Pay for traffic?

Just write? Do i not focus on anyhing else right now even getting people to follow me? Will people start seeing it automatically if i do more content?

You need to get more posts, so yea write more. Then start dropping your link in forums when you have a chance to do it according to the forums rules you are on, maybe in your sig, etc. Also more posts on your blog means more chances for search engine traffic. With a blog just starting out I would not buy too much traffic. Social links are another great way to get your traffic going.

 

Is the other guys in here says you need to write more posts. Do you want to visit a blog with only one post? Do you want to go back to a blog that only had one post last you where there? I don't think so. I will take time to build traffic to your site so stay focused on your content and start building incoming links to your blog.

You can start letting people know about your blog via your facebook friends, placing it in your signature links in forums and leave some comments in related blogs or sites with your site and anchor text as username but don't go overboard with this.

Post more content, and build quality backlinks. Learn SEO so you can get traffic from search engines. There is a great article starter guide to search engine optimization that should help you. Forum posting is a great way to build quality baclinks when you include a signature link.

 

What's on your mind? Usually with blogs, bloggers write what's on their mind and things like that. If you're not a writer, then you won't make it with an online blog. Why buy traffic? Use twitter and facebook to drive traffic, or get links from other blogs, thus, increasing your traffic flow, and such.

 

You can also comment in other related blogs because in my opinion, it is a kind of conversation.
I think that is an easy, quick way to get blog traffic

Since you already set up a blog and have post in it the next thing to do id the syndication of the content of your blog, submit your blog to different bookmarking sites, directory sites, join blog commenting and forum posting.

You should thought of this things before starting

SEO is the way to get traffic but i's not eassy and you have to read test learn a lot ...

 

Now that you already created you first post, follow it with more post. As soon as you can see that your blog is a must-see-blog because of its relevant content, you can now promote it. When a visitor enjoy what's on you blog, he might visit again and look for your next post. Focus on your content for now. And take note that a good template or graphics can also be a plus factor on yoir blog.
