Starting a Cell Phone comparison website? Profitable?

I have a great domain for starting a cell phone comparison website in Canada,

www.ComparePhones.ca

Are they proitable, good potential?

Any tips?

Doing comparison is not enough,you need to diversity it such as provide review of the phone etc.

 

Its a great domain name, so could be a winner.

I think you need to have a bunch of phones in there, and be able to keep updating constantly as new stuff comes out. And then users can come on and see the comparisons. YOu should do your own personal review as well to set yourself a part a bit more.
This however could be a problem, getting a hand on the phones to test.

BUt theres plenty of good ways to monetise all this too, as suggested above by selling the phones/contracts etc etc. Perhaps there are some affiliate programs for this. Or maybe you could sort out some sort of drop shipping and just sell the phones, if you can sell them at competitive prices.

That is a pretty competitive niche that is fairly saturated, you'll have a hard time with a new site gaining traction.

 

adsense earnings for mobile phone related keywords are not very high...
