Hypothetically speaking of course.

I have this friend, yeah, who bought this really cool thing for a mate he's never met before. This mate is a bit of a cheeky brat but anyway. The cheeky brat is getting married so this friend of mine (not myself of course, that would be silly) bought this cyber mate this really cool present. I can't tell what it is because you never know, maybe he reads this.

This friend now regrets his plan of giving it to his cybermate because the present is so cool.

So... Even though the cheeky brat is nice enough to deserve something really cool, should this friend, hypothetically of course, keep this or send it anyway?

Damn this is a though issue for this friend of mine.

This reminds me of a story. Two friends each had a dog. They both took care of the dog equally. One day one of the friends decided he was going to move for a job offer. They could not decide on what to do with the dog. Finally, they came to me. They said Hodgedup, you are so very wise, please help us decide.

So I said since each of you love the dog equally I shall cut the dog in two equal pieces and you shall each take a half.

They said no, no, no you can’t do that. Finally, one friend said I love the dog too much to see any harm come to it, he can have it. The other friend said I too love the dog too much to see any harm come to it. Hodgedup you shall have the dog.

So all three of us and the dog lived happily ever after. Everywhere I go this story is told, mostly by me.

So I see of only one solution. Give the gift to me.
