Well I swear I have tried everything over the last month without success but at least my traffic is slowly increasing. Can some of you with Adsense experience take a look at my sites and give me a helping hand into how to get those clicks coming in. Thanks all and good luck .

    1. your ads background and blogs back ground should be same in colour
    2. your article title colour should match with ads title colour.
    3. Use large rectangle at the top
    4. Use wide skyscraper at the sides.
    5. dont use link units at top of the page because click for link ads is too low.

    Interesting,

Having used Google Adwords since inception, what I am seeing is a total shift in industry away from PPC. My Adsense revenues are a mere fraction of what they were a year ago, so as I see it, we are seeing the internet surfer mature and become more educated on what to click on and what not to.

Most know the ads are from newbies while natural search is from reputable long term seasoned web site owner businesses. I don't know about others here, but I have not clicked on a paid ad in months, I will only look at top search engine results per specific key words, and never waste my time on PPC ads which is mostly useless.

Simply put, the internet is a fast moving target, and what use to work yesterday, does not work today. Look at Googles last quarter revenue drop to see how this recession and shift from PPC is impacting their botton line. They dropped hundred of millions, and it will be even worse this next quarter as I see it. If you are not seeing results you were hoping for, it is not always going to be related to your web site or catagory, it is the recession and smarter internet surfers.

    Success to all,
