    my father in law has ME on his e-machine....good Lord, kill me now when we visit and I have to use it. It's like watching paint dry waiting for it to process any other application other than solitaire and forget about rebooting it...might as well hit the reset button!

    oh wiat, but then you'd have to sit through scandisk...

    sweet! I have one of those too, might evenbe a Celeron A - look out!!! It's actually decent but we just use it for our daughter's games...winnie the pooh and the like :)

    nice work. old OS are fine on old systems:D if u have all basic stuff on board (ethernet card?) no need to buy new hardwares so no need for any new support.

    Windows 98, Windows 95 are not very stable in the release. The screen of "death" for them is a common occurrence. Glitches in these systems and the applications are often incompatible with each other (simultaneous operation of multiple applications) and it is just not very good for the whole process. I would have never come back to these systems... It is good that will be no updating anymore!
